About Eagle Mountain Golf Club
Nestled in the ravines of Arizona’s McDowell Mountains and colorized by dramatic sunrises and sunsets, Eagle Mountain Golf Club beckons those who desire an outstanding golf experience. Opened in 1996, this Scott Miller designed course is a spectacular representation of man’s creation in harmony with nature, as it winds through natural box canyons, rolling hills and lush desert valleys. At Eagle Mountain, you’ll find a challenging, yet fair, golf experience with contoured fairways and immaculately maintained emerald greens throughout a par 71, 6,800-yard layout. Over the years, Eagle Mountain has won a number of awards and accolades, including being recognized as one of the Top 10 Best Overall Courses in AZ by Colorado Avid Golfer, Named the #1 Public Golf Course in Arizona by Ranking Arizona and one of the Top 50 Public Courses in the Country by Golf World.

Old Town Scottsdale "Best of the West" Tour

There's plenty to discover in Old Town Scottsdale, from its rich history and culture to its unique, historic buildings and landmarks. You'll take a step back in time during this two-hour private tour in a six-seat, open-air vehicle, during which you'll explore three distinct districts, visit significant sites, explore three museums, and meet founding family members who will relay stories of how the city's founders and earliest settlers experienced life in Scottsdale. You'll have an unforgettable experience during this deep dive into what makes Old Town Scottsdale the best of the west.

Kayaking at Saguaro Lake Ranch

Life gets simpler at Saguaro Lake, which is the fourth reservoir on Arizona's famous Salt River. Running through the Sonoran Desert and rimmed with canyon walls, the shores of the lake are studded with majestic Saguaro cacti as far as the eye can see. On this kayaking adventure, you'll lauch from Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch and spend a sun-filled morning paddling and getting in touch with nature. Don't worry if you're not an experienced kayaker – prior to launching you will be provided with an orientation of basic safety and paddling instructions. Then it's off to explore the shorelines and take in the stunning views during a two-hour guided paddle!

"Know When to Hold 'Em" Poker Class

Join us right inside Talking Stick Resort for a group poker class with an expert player who has the heart of a teacher. You will be guided through a solid review of the basic skills needed ... aside from a little luck ... to win more than you lose when you belly up to the poker table. You'll learn the fundamentals of how poker works, and receive some basic instruction on game play and the do's and don'ts of casino play. You may even glean a bit of insight on how to bluff your way to victory when the cards aren't falling in your favor. By the end of this class, you'll definitely have a better understanding of when you should hold 'em, and when you should fold 'em!


Activity is $75 and includes:

- Three-hour poker lesson

- Poker chip set to take home

- Vegas-style snacks

Morning Yoga w/NASC's Katie Brenner

Activity Cost: $40

Join us for this gentle yoga class focused on flowing from pose to pose and linking the movement with breath. The class will be led by NASC's Katie Brenner, an experienced yogi with a teacher's heart. Katie will offer a variety of pose modifications throughout the class to encourage participation by everyone, no matter the experience level. We will do sitting, standing, and inverted postures, with suggestions for challenging variations for more advanced students. This class will be relaxing, fun, and non-intimidating. No yoga experience is needed! 

Activity is $40 and includes:
- Yoga mat
- Bottled water
- 45-minute yoga class

Self-Guided Visit to OdySea Aquarium

Activity Cost: $75

OdySea is a multi-level, state-of-the-art aquarium—the largest in the Southwest—featuring 65 exhibits, 370 species, 6,000 animals, and multiple touch pools. OdySea is also home to Voyager, where guests take their seats in a stadium-seating style theatre with 46-ft. viewing windows for the world’s only rotating aquarium experience. Even the restrooms are notable for having viewing windows into the shark habitat! OdySea Aquarium is accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums and meets the gold standard of animal care.

NASC will purchase general admission tickets and provide transportation, and on arrival, guests will be free to explore the aquarium at their own pace. You may also add on experiences at your own expense such as SeaTREK® underwater walking (swimsuit required), the penguin interaction program, or a behind-the-scenes shark experience. Lunch is on your own at the aquarium's Lighthouse Cafe.
